I Used To Be
You.
A sauce maker trying to figure out how to ship bottles without breaking the bank — or the bottles. This is how that problem turned into Hot Sauce Pod.
In My Own Words
Hey — I'm Kevin. And if you're reading this, there's a decent chance you're in the same spot I was a few years ago: you've got a sauce you're proud of, you're trying to figure out the shipping thing, and nothing you've found quite fits.
I had my own hot sauce company. I loved making it. I did not love shipping it. I needed small-batch custom slot boxes — the kind that hold each bottle snugly so it doesn't rattle around and arrive damaged. Simple enough request, right?
Turns out, not really.
The options I found either arrived at my door beat up and dented — which didn't exactly inspire confidence — or they were so complicated to assemble that I needed a diagram and twenty minutes I didn't have. Most of them required minimums I couldn't justify for a small operation. So I did the only thing that made sense: I designed my own.
They worked. My bottles shipped safely. My customers were happy. And then, honestly, my hot sauce company didn't make it. That's a hard thing to say, but it's the truth. The business wound down, and I was left with a warehouse full of really good boxes and no sauce to put in them.
I started selling the boxes just to move them. I figured other sauce makers might have the same problem I did. And they did. Orders came in. Then came the messages: “Do you have one for a 4oz bottle?” “What about a 12-pack?” “Can I get these in white?”
That's when I realized — this wasn't just me getting rid of inventory. This was actually something people needed. So I leaned in. I started developing more configurations. I built a real catalog. I made it easy to order small quantities at a fair price.
Last year we served over 1,000 brands and shipped more than 100,000 boxes. This year I'm trying to 10x that. But honestly? The thing I care about most hasn't changed since day one: I want your product to arrive safely, look great, and make you proud. Because I know what it means to you. I've been there.

What I Promise You
My Commitments
Not corporate values. Just the things I actually believe in, from one maker to another.
Your Product Matters To Me
I know what it feels like to hand someone a bottle of something you poured yourself into — literally. When your customer opens that box I want them to feel the care before they even take a drip. That’s why I obsess over the fit, the presentation, the confidence that nothing shifted in transit.
Simple. Because It Has To Be.
I’ve assembled enough confusing boxes in my life. Every pod I make is designed to fold together quickly with clear, simple steps — no YouTube rabbit hole required. It ships flat, it builds fast, and it holds your bottles exactly where they need to be.
Order What You Need. Not What You’re Forced To.
One of the things that frustrated me most when I was starting out was the minimum order problem. You need 50 boxes, but the only option is 5,000. I built Hot Sauce Pod specifically so that doesn’t have to be your problem. Order what makes sense for where you are right now.
Priced For Real Sauce Economics
I know your margins. I lived them. Every cent you spend on packaging is a cent that isn’t profit. I keep my prices as low as I can, and the more you order, the more you save — because I want to grow with you, not just sell to you once.
The Short Version
I don't think great packaging should be a luxury reserved for brands that have already made it. You deserve it on day one. That's the whole point.
Don't Just Take My Word For It
WHAT OTHER BRANDS SAY
I'm proud of these. Every one came from someone who trusted me with their product.
